New release of SafeSign IC 4.6.0.0 for Windows and Windows on ARM
Mar 03, 2026
We’re happy to announce the release of SafeSign IC 4.6.0.0 for Windows (on ARM)!
Update as soon as possible
This version addresses an important breaking incompatibility of our Minidriver with one of the latest Microsoft Windows 11 Knowledge Base (KB) updates. The KB update in question – KB5077241 – is expected to become generally available (via Windows Update) as of the 10th of March 2026, so we strongly recommend to update to SafeSign IC 4.6.0.0 as soon as possible.
Because of the impact of this Windows Update, we’re first making SafeSign IC 4.6.0.0 on Windows and Windows on ARM immediately available. With the releases for Linux and macOS expected to follow later this month.
Key changes
SafeSign iC 4.6.0.0 also adds support for the Thales IDBridge K50 smart card reader and improves (un)installation.
Immediately available
SafeSign IC 4.6.0.0 for Windows and Windows on ARM is immediately available for all customers with active Maintenance Service Agreements.
