Scrum Master

AET Europe uses cutting edge technology to create solutions for secure authentication, authorization and information exchange. Our products are used to secure information for government, healthcare and private companies all over the world. Currently AET Europe is expanding into new markets and therefore our development department is hiring new eager team members.

Your opportunity as a Scrum master

By joining our development department, which is in Arnhem (NL), you will be coaching our agile scrum teams. As a scrum master you will be working closely with the product owners and developers, by using and optimizing the SCRUM methodology within development. As a coach you will be focusing on people and process management, where your primary goal is to make high performance teams.

As a scrum master you are dedicated (like us) to information security. It is in your nature to take responsibility and ownership, and you enjoy working with multiple teams. A self-supporting attitude is required, proactively sourcing and sharing relevant information with your teams and the company. You are a team player and can organize and prioritize your workload. You always strive for improvement. You are pro-active with excellent communication skills.

Your profile

AET Europe is looking for a Scrum master:

  • With Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT;
  • Has more than three years’ experience as dedicated scrum master;
  • Is a certified scrum master;
  • With experience with coaching multiple scrum teams;
  • Has understanding of software development.


  • Coaching the team members in self-management and cross-functionality;
  • Creating high-value increments (sprints);
  • Teaching how to solve impediments as part of self-management;
  • Making sure that all scrum events are held, are productive and kept within the timebox;
  • Remove impediments between stakeholders and scrum teams where needed;
  • Coaching and leading the organisation in adapting scrum, commitment and ownership.

Soft skills

  • High quality organization and leadership skills;
  • Outstanding communication and presentation abilities;
  • The ability to create ownership (high level of persuasiveness);
  • Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal;
  • The ability to work with multiple teams and people with different specialism;
  • The ability to organize and prioritize your workload and has as strong security awareness.
